Terry Lockie & Associates PC is a locally owned CPA firm started in 1987 by Terry Lockie, CPA. In 1992 Terry’s firm and Gene Dierking’s CPA firm merged to form Dierking Lockie and Associates PC. We have many years of tax and financial experience and can help you to plan to reduce taxes, grow your business and/or personal wealth.

Terry Lockie
Terry Lockie has over 25 years of tax, accounting and financial experience with 2 masters degrees, one specializing in taxation. She was the tax manager and treasurer of a major U.S. corporation before starting her own CPA/consulting firm. Terry is qualified by the AICPA for business valuations and has done valuations for estates, mergers, acquisitions and divorce situations. She is a frequent tax, business and financial lecturer. Terry is a founding member of the Estate Planning Council of the Greater Siouxland Area, Inc. and she is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, Professional Association of HealthCare Office Managers of Iowa, and the Iowa Society of CPAs. Terry loves animals. She and her husband have several horses on their rural Homer, NE. acreage. Terry has a love of music, which includes singing, directing, and active involvement with several music groups around the siouxland area. Terry is actively involved in church, charitable and community organizations, as well, helping the firm achieve the Bridge 21 Community Service Award.
Dawn Mikkelson
Dawn Mikkelson is a graduate of Briar Cliff University. She graduated “Cum Laude” in 1981, with a BA in accounting, and attained her CPA license shortly thereafter. She has 30 years of experience in public and private accounting. Her emphasis has been in non-profit governmental, healthcare, manufacturing and the finance industry. She was the CFO for 7 years at the Jackson Recovery Center. Dawn is a member of the Sioux City Camera Club, presently serving as the Vice-President. Dawn has been a volunteer coach with many local amateur sports organizations. She enjoys reading and writing in her spare time.
- Susie Christensen
Susie Christensen has been our Office Manager since December 2008. She retired from Qwest Communications with 34 years of service, and has various job experiences including, warehouse administration, cable splicing, outside plant engineering, contract inspection, and construction & maintenance supervision. She presently serves on the Sergeant Bluff Planning & Zoning Commission, is a charter member of the SBCDC (Sergeant Bluff Community Development Corporation) and volunteers at the Sioux City Research Center. Susie is actively involved with her Church, is an “over 12 gallons” donor at the Siouxland Bloodbank, and loves to drive her 1974 restored VW Super Beetle convertible. Susie is married and has lived in Sergeant Bluff for 23 years. She likes art, sewing, decorating, and enjoys patio gardening.
- Bobbie Wahlberg
Bobbie (Barbara) Wahlberg is our Billing Manager. She has been with Terry Lockie & Associates for 6 years. Previous to employment here she was with Gateway for 10 years in the Accounting & Finance department. Her duties included Team Manager in the loan processing & credit cards division, and Manager of Training. Bobbie also worked 10 years with Terra Industries handling product movement. Bobbie is a lifelong resident of Moville, IA. She is active in American Legion Auxiliary, Moville United Methodist Church and “Moville at 125”, (the sesquicentennial celebration). She has been married 42 years and enjoys gardening and reading.
